we had a waitress i beleive her name was Sharon! Very rude, took forever to bring the check and kind of just tossed it at us.I have been to other bill bateman's in the area and was never treated so rudely

I had a friend who raved about Bill Bateman's, so when we went to one (now closed) location and it was a complete disaster, I should have known. But, always the optimist, I've tried two other locations now. Basically the same results. First, the beer highlights, Clipper City MarzHon, Sam Adams White, and Stella Artois plus 12 other mega-swill taps. Not something I'd go out of my way for. Ordered a dozen wings at lunchtime--took over 25 minutes, and got the wrong kind anyway. Thus the "so so" for service. To be fair, the barmaid was pleasant, and did a good job tending to the bar, tables, keno players, making change, etc... She deserves a "good to great" rating. Not sure this place deserves a return trip.

My wife and I enjoyed Dinner here last night. As always the food and service was fantastic. we enjoy not only Bateman's famous wings but also trying they're Chef's Specials. We try to make it in at least once a week to enjoy their wonderful foods.

When this establishment first opened, it's staff was more personable and friendly, but with the changes in staff over the years, it has become more run of the mill. They've gone from "Neighborhood friendly" to "McRestaurant" service quality. As for the food, it is still good, but items such as the gator, orriginally on the menu, are gone.
